Gloria Perez is a dedicated community leader and lifelong resident of Leadville, Colorado, where she has lived for more than 30 years. Gloria has extensive experience in human services, non-profit and private sector, all grounded in her deep commitment to the Lake County community.

Recognized for her impactful work, Gloria was selected as a member of the 2022 cohort for the Boettcher Foundation’s "Doers & Difference Makers" Fellowship, a program that honors leaders who have taken active roles in shaping their communities across Colorado.

Gloria serves as vice chair of the Colorado Mountain College Board of Trustees, chair of the Lake County Community Fund Board, and co-founder and treasurer of Líderes Latinx Leadville. Among other contributions, Gloria has played a key role in empowering the local Latino community. A volunteer from an early age, she has provided leadership for numerous community initiatives, including:

· COVID-19 pandemic response

· Fundraising

· Promoting voter registration among Latino residents

· Supporting the Lake County School District’s vision-planning process

· Advocating for suicide prevention and mental health awareness

A graduate of Lake County High School, Gloria earned an associate degree from Colorado Mountain College and a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in Finance from Regis University.
